Pacific Heights

An elegant San Francisco enclave with walkable streets and gorgeous Bay views

Welcome to Pacific Heights

Pacific Heights is an elegant neighborhood ideally located on the North side of San Francisco facing the San Francisco Bay. It is known for its stunning Victorian homes, palpable affluence, and stunning views of the water. It is one of the city's most upscale neighborhoods and is home to many of San Francisco's wealthy and influential residents. Pacific Heights is also great for outdoor activities, with several parks and green spaces nearby, including Alta Plaza Park and Lafayette Park.

The neighborhood was first developed in the 1870s and is laden with notably large, Victorian-inspired homes. Many homes were replaced with period homes after the 1906 San Francisco earthquake. As such, homes boast various architectural styles including French Château, Classic Revival, Spanish/Mediterranean, and Mission Revival. There is even a 17,000 square foot Spanish Renaissance Revival palacio designed by one of the most influential architects in the city, Willis Polk, in 1916. It is called one of the most beautiful residences in America.
