It is a true San Francisco institution. Here, you can discover fresh produce, artisanal goods, and an array of international food stalls, making it a must-visit for food enthusiasts.

Though it's one of the city's oldest green spaces, it had a reputation for being a bit rough. A strong community effort brought about a multi-million dollar makeover, complete with playhouses, slides, swings, ropes and a lovely picnic area. This circular park is built on a hill and at the top is a spectacular view as well as basketball and tennis courts.
